Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court was apprised of Morris’s intricate falsehoods. From October 2020 to April 2023, she overclaimed a hefty sum of £20,528.83. It was revealed that not only was she still actively running, but she completed 73 races during the time she was supposedly incapacitated.
Investigation Reveals the Truth
Surveillance footage showed Morris actively running in various events, displaying neither balance issues nor the anguish of standing that she’d reported in her claims.
